Antique Dresser Painted with Blue and White Ombre Drawers

Antique Dresser Painted with Blue and White Ombre Drawers

This lovely antique oak dresser has just been refinished in CeCe Caldwell’s Eco-Friendly, all natural paint and wax.  The solid oak top was stripped and refinished to show off the intricate design of this solid antique dresser.

I painted the body of it in CeCe Caldwell’s Simply White.  The drawers were painted in a custom mix of Maine Harbor Blue and Alaskan Tundra, mixing in a little more Simply White as I worked my way up the drawers.

I truly appreciate the craftsmanship, curved lines and overall charm of this piece and think it would make an adorable vintage style bathroom vanity.

I can totally imagine this nestled in an amazing beach house.

It reminds me of the type of furniture we find when we stay in cool old cottages along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

I just dropped this off to my booth at Not So Shabby in downtown Zeeland.  Click here for more information.

If you’d like to do something like this, now is a great time because we just got a large shipment of CeCe Caldwell’s new paint colors.  Check them out HERE at my online shop or stop by our large CeCe Caldwell Display at our Shizzle Design booth in Not So Shabby in West Michigan here.

I spend a large chunk of time painting custom pieces for clients.  If you have a piece of furniture you would like painted, let me know.  Our current pieces for sale can be seen here.  It changes frequently but I do my best to mark things as sold once they’re gone.

A hui hou! ~ Shelly

It’s a very pretty piece and I loved the way you lightened the drawers as you went up I might have to copy that sometime! 🙂
