It’s been crazy busy here between painting furniture for clients and painting other furniture to replace the pieces which keep selling at Not So Shabby Antiques and Fine Furniture in downtown Zeeland.
I’ve also been really busy with stocking paint, pouring paint, packing and shipping online orders, shooting – resizing – editing & downloading photos, advertising, and writing posts for my blog. That being said, I’ll keep this quick.
Here’s the Funky Antique Drum Table I finished last week using a combination of CeCe Caldwell’s Cinco Bayou Moss, Spring Hill Green, Smoky Mountain and a Vintage White.
It seems like you just can’t go wrong mixing CeCe Caldwell’s Colors.
It’s fun to see the difference color makes on the same piece. Compare this table to two other round pedestal tables I painted recently. All three of them have are unique.
I’d like to give a shout out to each one of these highly talented artists. I am both humbled and honored for each and every one of their features!! Stop by and check them out!
Locally, my work is being recognized by Macatawa Bank who is featuring Shizzle Design the entire month of August. Stop by the Byron Center branch where my newly painted pieces and CeCe Caldwell’s Paints will available for immediate purchase from August 1-31. You can purchase pieces right at the bank.
Congratulations go out to Erin Sheperd of Carolina Country Living who won the CeCe Caldwell’s Paint Giveaway hosted Angie of Knick of Time and donated by Shizzle Design.
For her winnings, Erin chose:
- Alaskan Tundra

- Santa Fe Turquoise and

Congratulations Erin!!! Have fun painting and be sure to send us some photos of your creations!! Thanks to each one of you who took the time to enter!
