Shelly – thanks so much for the videos – I did not realize that you have hand issues too. I have chronic pain and arthritis and over the past couple of years the weakness in my hands has really held me back from completing projects and moving forward with my business plans. I am always looking for easier ways to sand, strip, paint and wax my furniture and have wondered about the wax buffing brush. Shipping costs from the USA to Australia have held me back, but after seeing how fast it bought up the shine, I really have to take the plunge!

I’ve gone thru some really tough times with joint problems and have learned to do many things differently over the past 20 years. You still have to hold onto the drill which tends to pull but it’s much easier on the joints in my fingers than clenching a rag for buffing. I’m sure most people don’t have an issue with that thankfully, but for me – its huge.
Shelly, your new blog design looks great! I also love the two videos; thanks for making them! You always do such an amazing job on painting furniture!

How long do you wait between applying the wax and buffing it out?
If I’m going to use the drill brush, I usually wait overnight, but not always.
Thanks Shelly! Now I’m ready to break out my wax brush for the drill. The one I bought from you a few months ago, Ive been saving it…(for?) I needed this push! Hope you relaxed on your vacation.

I am so glad I came across this site! I have been buying furniture for the past year but as I research more & more i just didn’t think my hands would allow me to do the work. I have Osteo arthritis in my wrists & fingers and bone on bone in the basal joint. My line of work doesn’t allow me to let my hands rest long enough for the cortisone shots to work.
I want to paint so bad but dread the aftermath so I found a paint sprayer for larger pieces & now this buffing brush. Maybe there is hope.
