Howz it going? Did you all remember to turn your clocks ahead the other night. It always throws me off for a few days when they change the time. Am I the only one?
I spent this past weekend at an awesome women’s retreat and am rested, refreshed and ret-to-go. I didn’t have the chance to do any painting last week but wanted to share a little coffee table I forgot to post that was painted in CeCe Caldwell’s Destin Gulf Green and Santa Fe Turquoise.
If you haven’t tried CeCe Caldwell’s Paint yet, something like this is a perfect size piece for a first project.
I love mixing colors, not that you have to because there are so many great choices, but I always like to kick it up a notch.
I’ve been on a serious turquoise kick lately ~ I don’t think of myself as a “blue” of person, but looking back through my projects, I realized that some of my favorite projects have been painted in blue ~ what can I say?
A little distressing, a little wax and Viola!
I even had the opportunity to climb a rock wall for the first time ~ totally cool! It’s a goofy picture of me; I look like a guy with my sweatshirt and hard hat, but it sure was fun! If you ever have the opportunity to try it, go for it!
Rockies Here I Come!
Have a GREAT week!!
If you missed my last project, a turquoise highboy…

The turquoise table is beautiful! And I absolutely love rock climbing walls! 😀
Me too! I’d love to go on a month long hike. Don’t know that I’m ready for real mountain climbing but the wall was really cool.
that’s some accomplishment getting the legs cut so evenly. Tricky but isn’t it fun to do and have something start to turn into what you want it to be. Good for you on the great deal! Hope it all turns out perfectly!
Thanks Patty but I didn’t cut the legs on this.
Did you just paint the table turquoise and going over some with destin green? I am a just started to paint and am looking for tips. Thanks
What an artist you are! I love your work… and the color is striking. Turquoise is one of my favorite, but you sure know how to kick it up a notch!!!!
I have never use CCC paints, but would love to try!
