Have u ever used chalk paint on fabric duch as a chair or sofa. Please let me know how to do it if u have or where I can see a tutorial if u know of one
Hi Joyce, I’ve painted things such as window treatments and decorative wall hangings but never an upholstered piece of furniture. If my dad was still here, I’d seek out upholstered pieces, but I don’t have that skill. As far as painting fabric on a chair or sofa, I recommend diluting our paint quite a bit with water when applying it on upholstery. That will allow it to spread nicely. I would do 2-3 thin coats depending on coverage and the look you’re going for. What you seal it with, will also depend on the type of piece you’re doing.
